This material is part of the group of facing materials for cylinder head gaskets, soft gaskets and exhaust gaskets.

 

The material structure of novaplan 03050, being only partly vulcanised, has been created in a very simple, but effective roll-on process. Its very good performance is due to a subsequent vulcanisation process, as well as to the drying conditions following the silicone printing and/or -coating.

novaplan 03050 shows an outstanding thermal stability, which results in a very good performance in exhaust systems, as well as in carburetor- and diesel engines. From a density of 1.63 g/cm³ on, novaplan 03050 can be used without any impregnation. Its sulphur-free composition allows the usage of all standard silicone materials.
